  2. One method I've used since I was a teenager has helped every woman I've shown it to. The woman in pain lays down flat on her stomach, while someone massages her lower back. The person should apply adequate pressure, using the bottom of their palm, and make circular motions rather than a fluid massage. Somewhat like kneading dough. Make sure to massage the back in the area where the pain is occurring in the front. It helps to center and soothe the uterus.

    I learned this method in middle school during health class. It works during menstruation, and for painful ovulation two weeks before menstruation. At least it has for me

  13. I use a heating pad for sure for my cramps. I've used a hot water bottle in a pinch too. I made a really cool roller bottle with essential oils and I find that helps too. I've never been a big fan of ginger, but never thought to try cinnamon for cramps. I'll try that next time too. I am pretty sure it is in my rollerbottle too.

  17. Great info. I used to get horrible menstral cramps before I got on birth control. Like can't do anything want to stay in the bed cramps. Hopefully I don't get them again but if I do I will try the ginger.
