    1. all ways are available from cooking with any soup or stew, to having it as chips or maybe with oil (which is a common way down here in my country Nigeria)... sometimes you can ground it down to powder and make it in another for for the soups and stew also. you can have it as plantain-porridge aswell.you can make about 10 or more dishes from plantain. and they all are of great health benefits to the human body. i hope this helps.

  18. This was good to know! I always thoght that plantain is not really having any health benefits, but I was very wrong. IYou can find it here in Europe only in specail food stores and I think that in Hungary where I live it might be that it's sold nowhere - a real pity!

  20. here in the Philippines, we called it as "Saging Saba" and it is pretty common too.. It is mostly cooked with spring roll wrapper and sugar and then fried (we called it turon, a popular Filipino dessert). I also prefer to eat it raw as I am aware of some of its surprising health benefits
